Our Story

Giving should be direct.

India has thousands of legitimate NGOs doing extraordinary work. The problem isn't the lack of causes — it's the lack of trust and visibility. BharatDonate was built to fix that.

Why we built this

Most donation platforms take 5–10% of every donation as a platform fee. That's ₹500 of every ₹10,000 never reaching the cause. Over millions of donations, this becomes a significant drain on India's social sector.

Beyond fees, the bigger problem is opacity. Donors have no idea if their money reached the intended cause, how it was used, or whether the NGO is even active. The relationship between donor and cause is broken.

BharatDonate was built to restore that relationship. Direct. Transparent. Zero fees. NGOs share field updates — reels, photos, stories — so donors can see exactly where their money went.

What We Stand For

Four principles.
Non-negotiable.

Radical transparency

Every rupee is publicly accountable. NGOs post field updates, share receipts, and document impact. We make the money trail visible.

Rigorous verification

Every NGO is manually vetted before listing. Registration documents, 80G certificates, ground presence — we check everything.

Zero extraction

We take nothing from donations. BharatDonate runs on optional donor tips. The cause gets 100%, always.

Donor dignity

No emotional manipulation, no guilt trips. We believe donors deserve clear facts and direct connection — not performance.

Our first verified partner

Divya Prem Seva Mission

DPSM runs one of India's most respected humanitarian operations — caring for leprosy patients, abandoned children, and the destitute in Haridwar. They're our first partner because they embody everything BharatDonate stands for: transparent, documented, and life-changing.
